History

Tradition, vineyards and tranquility in el Penedès.

El Serral Hotel is a Catalan farmhouse built in 1913 in the heart of the Penedès, one of the Mediterranean’s oldest wine-producing regions.

For generations, it has formed part of the agricultural and cultural landscape of the area, maintaining both its structure and its connection to the land.

At one point in its history, its proximity to the former Els Monjos airfield gave it a strategic role during the Spanish Civil War.

Today, the farmhouse has been carefully restored, preserving its original identity while reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens.

Stone, wood and historic architecture coexist with a subtle intervention guided by light, natural materials and a close relationship with the landscape.

The result is a place where the past is not displayed, but quietly felt.

A living estate designed for private celebrations and shared experiences immersed in nature.
